ASFIP Foundation was established as a legal entity in the State of Georgia on September 15, 2015, by volunteer members of the Atlanta Society of Investment and Finance Professionals.  The Foundation was created to further its mission of providing opportunities for individuals and families to learn about finances and investments.  The Foundation does this by providing financial and volunteer support to charitable organizations in the Greater Atlanta area with similar missions.  Through the Foundation, Chartered Financial Analysts in Atlanta are able to become more engaged in the community and enhance the quality of life of others.

The video below provides information about how the Foundation started and the work we do in the ATL community

The Foundations is governed by a group of volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors and Committees.  View how the Foundation is organized

    Literacy Materials Presentation

We understand that for any individual or family to be successful, they need a basic understanding of budgeting, banking and credit transactions, and saving and investments. Through grants and volunteer activities, we partner with other nonprofit organizations with similar goals to teach students and adults about financial literacy, creating jobs, and generating wealth and effectively managing it. Through this work, we help our neighbors achieve financial stability and success.

We also mentor and educate local college students and provide them with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing an investment fund and learning about philanthropy. To learn more, go to Fellowship Program.
