    Chief Financial Officer

    David Damiani is a founding Partner of Balentine, serves as Chief Financial Officer for the firm and is a member of the management committee. In addition, David is a member of the Investment Strategy Team and is responsible for risk management at Balentine. In these roles, David works closely with the Relationship Management team in an advisory capacity.

    David has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in investment management and strategic asset allocation. Previously, David was an investment advisor at Wilmington Trust Company. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2006, he was an investment consultant with Mercer Investment Consulting in Atlanta. Earlier in his career, he was a senior consultant and project manager with Advent Software and also served as a senior equities trader with Credit Suisse Asset Management.

    David holds a Master of Science in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgia State University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. David is a member of the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts and actively participates in the CFA preparatory program as an instructor. The CFA Institute published David’s article “The Case for Cash” in its July/August 2012 issue of CFA Institute Magazine.
